The Production Teams Behind The Good Fight, Evil & Blue Bloods is Helping to Feed Frontline Hospital Workers
The Production teams behind The Good Fight, Evil & Blue Bloods on CBS have teamed up with the eatery Heroboy in Hell's Kitchen to help feed frontline medical workers who are waging their biggest fight yet against Covid-19.
Wilson Rivas Crafts received calls from his clients in the film industry asking for ways to help with food deliveries for hospital workers. Rivas took decisive action by shutting down his restaurant to transform it into a commissary and distribution center with the sole focus of feeding frontline workers.
With the support of The Good Fight, Evil and Blue Bloods, Heroboy has delivered meals to over 7,000 hospital workers at Metropolitan Hospital, St. Barnabas Hospital, Hackensack Hospital and Kings County Hospital just to name a few. Additionally, They have also sent 400 meals paid by Broadway Stages to University Hospital in Brooklyn. Rivas is utilizing his oversized Heroboy kitchen at 494 9th Avenue in an impactful way, while following all of the codes and guidelines to prepare meals safely, employ some of his workers during a very difficult time and deliver to hospitals all across NYC daily.
